Green Goddess Dip
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 teaspoons fresh chives
2 teaspoons dried tarragon leaves
salt and pepper to taste
Combine above ingredients and chill for 3 hours. Serve with chips or on
vegetables. Makes 3 cups.
Colombia is bordered by Panama on the northwest, on the east by Venezuela
and Brazil, and on the southwest by Peru and Ecuador. Through the western half
of the country, three Andean ranges run north and south. The eastern half is a
low, jungle-covered plain, drained by spurs of the Amazon and Orinoco Rivers,
inhabited mostly by isolated tropical-forest Indian tribes. The fertile plateau
and valley of the eastern range are the most densely populated parts of the
country.
