Tex Mex Appetizers

 

Cullen's Chili con Queso Dip

 

1 large onion
2 tbs butter
1 can pickled jalapenos 4 oz chopped
1 cups canned tomatoes
hot sauce to test
1 lb Velveeta cheese
1 clove garlic
Picante or salsa to taste Tex Mex Sauces

in skillet add butter and brown onion and garlic, add the tomatoes mashing with a fork as
the juice cooks away and thickens. When very thick add peppers, salt and hot sauce
and chunks of cheese, cook until cheese is melted. Use as a dip with fried tortilla
