Tex Mex Appetizers

 

 

Queso  Flameado

 

1 141/2 oz can tomatoes
11/2 pds Mozzarella cheese sliced in thick slices
1 small onion chopped
2 Serrano peppers chopped
3 lbs chorizo (Mexican sausage)
salt & pepper

Make a salsa by blending tomatoes onion and pepper in blender. Remove casing from chorizo
and brown in skillet, discard all fat and pour salsa over iy and simmer 1 hour. Add cheese and cook till it melts.
Serve with tortillas & picante or other sauce Tex Mex Sauces
