Bacon Salisbury Steaks
4 slices bacon, finely diced
1 1/2 pounds ground round
1/2 pound ground pork
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon finely chopped green or red bell pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley, or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Mix bacon with ground round, onion, green or red bell pepper, parsley, salt, and
pepper. Shape mixture into 6 oval patties, about 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick.
Place patties on a broiler pan which has been sprayed with nonstick cooking
spray. Broil about 4 inches from heat for about 10 minutes; turn and broil the
other side for about 10 minutes longer, or until meat is no longer pink.
Salisbury steaks serve 6. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables
You can fool all the people
