Nancy's Whole Cut Up Green Chicken With Tomatillo Green Sauce

 

1 3-4lb chicken cut into serving pieces
11/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup dry white wine
11/2 cup salsa Verde or tomatillos sauce See Below
1/2 cup sesame seeds
Several sprigs of cilantro chopped

Simmer chicken in stock and wine for 35-40 mins, covered. Drain chicken and transfer to a large casserole.
Pour Salsa Verde ot tomatillos sauce over chicken and cover. Bake @ 350 for 20 mins. Brown sesame seeds
in frying pan over medium heat stirring to prevent burning. Just before serving, sprinkle seeds and cilantro over chicken.

Shanna's Tomatillos  Green Sauce

 

20 tomatillos
3 or 4 sprigs cilantro
2 Serrano chilis
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt

Boil the tomatillos in a little water until tender. Place in blender or food processor with the Serrano chilis, cilantro, the garlic and salt. Process until smooth. Pour into a pan with 1 tablespoon oil and simmer for ten minutes 

disposable: An item that is made to be used once and then thrown away. Disposable items, like paper plates or plastic forks and knives, create unnecessary garbage. It is almost always better for the environment when you choose reusable items, like china plates and silverware, instead.
