Kat's Skillet Bean with Sausage

 

1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup green bell pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 to 1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch slices
1 can (14 ounces) garbanzo beans, drained
1 large can (approximately 32 ounces) pork and beans in tomato sauce
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
Directions for beans and sausage recipe


Combine all ingredients in a large skillet. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and simmer for 5 minutes longer. Serves 6. Serve with coleslaw or potato salad. Beans with smoked sausage recipe serves
