Tomato Green Beans
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 large can (28 ounces) stewed tomatoes, drained and chopped
2 cups fresh or frozen green beans
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Melt butter in a skillet; add onion, celery and green pepper. Sauté for about 3
minutes; add garlic, tomatoes, beans and parsley. Cover and cook for about 15
minutes, or until beans are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serves 4.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing pole.
