Ham Green Beans
2 smoked ham hocks
1 pound green beans
salt and pepper, to taste
"Cooked long and slowly, the beans are soft yet chewy. Place green
beans, ham hocks and season, cover with water, and simmer covered for 2 hours.
Take out ham and break into small chunks add back to pot and simmer for 30 more
minutes.
Serves 4.
