        Shanna's  Beef Stroganoff

 

2  lbs boneless beef sirloin steak or filet
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove pressed or minced garlic
3 tbs flour
2 beef bouillon cubes
Salt & pepper
1 tbs catsup
1 can condensed beef broth
1/2 cup wine
11/2 cups sour cream
1 4 ox can sliced mushrooms

Cut sirloin into strips. Brown quickly in 1 tbs of butter. Melt remaining butter and 
sauté onion and garlic to transparent. Remove from heat and add flour, catsup, salt
and pepper. Stir until smooth. Add bouillon cubes and broth slowly. Bring to a boil,
stirring constantly. Simmer for 5 mins. add wine, sour cream, mushrooms then 
beef strips, heat well. Serve over wide noodles or rice.

2lbs  sirloin
Oil
1 large onion chopped
1/2 cup water
1 to 2 cans cream of mushroom
1 4oz can sliced mushrooms
Salt & pepper
2 tbs paprika
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup wine

Cut meat into bite sizes or strips. Brown meat and onions in oil. Add water, cover and simmer
for 30 mins. If need add additional water while cooking. Add soup mushrooms, salt, pepper
and paprika. Simmer 1 hour, add sour cream and wine and cook until heated. serve over noodles or rice.

1 Tbls. olive oil
1 lb. stewing beef - cubed
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic - minced
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 1/2 cups beef broth - low-fat okay
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup barley
2 Tbls. ketchup
1/2 cup sour cream - low-fat okay

Brown beef in oil in large saucepan.
-Stir in onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper and cook for 3 minutes.
-Stir in broth, mushrooms, barley, and ketchup.
-Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
-Remove from heat and stir in sour cream

1 Lb. round sirloin - cut into cubed
2 Tbs olive oil
1 clove chopped garlic
3/4 cup water
2 cans condensed golden cream of mushroom soup
1 can sliced mushrooms - drained
1 cup sour cream
salt and pepper - to taste

In a saucepan, brown steak strips and garlic in margarine.
-Pour in water and simmer, covered, for 25 minutes over low heat.
-Stir in soup and mushrooms and simmer, stirring often, for 30 minutes over low heat.
-Stir in sour cream and season with salt and pepper
