James's Short Ribs & Rice

 

2 to 3 lbs short ribs
1 can condensed onion soup
1 can (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
* 1 cup beef bouillon (I prefer low-salt variety)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce (I prefer 1 1/2 tsp!!)
3 cups hot cooked rice
PREPARATION:

*I also like to add 1 cup of burgundy wine to the pot for flavour.
Brown short ribs. Place all ingredients except rice in electric slow cooker. Mix well. Cover. Cook short ribs on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. 
(HIGH for 5 hours). Serve with hot cooked rice.
Serves 4 to 6
