Cajun Sausage
Kat's Apple Sausage
1/3 cup chopped peeled onion
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 medium apple, peeled, cored and finely shredded
1/2 teaspoon crushed sage
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Stir together all ingredients in large bowl. Shape into 12 (3-inch) patties.
Cover; refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
Heat 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage patties; reduce heat to
medium. Cook 5 minutes; turn. Continue cooking until patties are no longer pink
(3 to 5 minutes).
If your parents never had children, chances are you won't, either.
