Can Fish Casseroles
James's Can Salmon Noodle Casserole
1 x (7 3/4 oz.) can salmon
3 cup cooked egg noodles
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/4 cup sliced green onions
2 tbl minced parsley
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbl lemon juice
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese
Method :
Drain and flake salmon, reserving liquid. Combine salmon and liquid with
remaining ingredients except Parmesan cheese. Place in buttered 2 quart
casserole and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for
30-40 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
Solution to clean fruits and vegetables
Fill your sink with water, warm or cool, it doesn't matter. add about 1/4 - 1/2
Cup plain household bleach to the water. Add all your fruits and vegetables.
I even put my bananas and lettuce in the water and swish it around. I let it all
sit for about 5 minutes and then drain and dry the fruits and veggies. Kills all
the germs.
Other suggestions sent in were
1. use a few tablespoons of vinegar with water.
2. use a quick rub of vinegar and rinse off.
3. use 1/8 c. white vinegar in qt. of water.
