Chicken Fried, Country & Round Steaks

 

Kat's Onion Steak 

 

2 lbs round steak
Salt and Pepper
Flour
Oil
2 cups onions, sliced
3 tbs flour
2 cups milk

Cut steaks into serving size, season, dredge with flour. Heat oil in skillet. Brown meat on both sides.
 Remove steak to a platter, drain off most of oil off. Fry onions over moderate heat until golden
Sprinkle with about 3 tbs flour and blend. Add milk, blend, cook over low heat until thickened.
Reduce to lowest heat and cook 5 mins. Pour over steak.
