Lynn's Congealed Strawberry Salad

2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry gelatin 
2 cups hot water 
1 1/2 cups cold water 
8 ounce package cream cheese 
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts 
1 pint fresh strawberries, lightly sugared 
 

Preparation Tips:

Pour hot water over gelatin and stir well to completely dissolve. Add cold water. Shape cream cheese into balls (using 1 teaspoon for each). Roll in chopped nuts. Place cheese balls evenly spaced in 9 inch ring mold. Cover with lightly sugared strawberries. Pour cooled strawberry gelatin over cheese balls and berries. Chill several hours until gelatin is set. Unmold on large serving plate. Makes 8 servings.
