1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tbs sugar
1 1/2tesp baking powder
1tsp salt
1/2 tesp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tbs unsalted butter
Preheat oven to 425. Coat a 10 in cast-iron skillet or 9 in sq baking pan.

. In a bowl whisk the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking
soda mix well.
In a bowel whisk together the egg and milk and melted butter. Add to dry mix,
mixing until
no dry streaks. Do not over mix. Bake 20-25 min until top is golden.
