Cullen's Hot Water Cornbread
2 cups cornmeal
11/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
Boiling water
Vegetable oil
Butter
Combine dry ingredients, add enough boiling water to make a stiff
dough. Dip hands in
cold water and form flat cakes about 3" wide and 1/2 " thick
"size-of-palm". Fry
in oil and butter until crisp.
