Shanna's Pork Ham Salami Cheese Cuban Sandwich
1 loaf (the long kind) of crusty Italian or French bread
1/2 lb ham, sliced thin
1/4 lb roasted pork, sliced thin
1/4 lb Italian salami, sliced thin
1/4 lb Swiss cheese
Dill pickles
Mustard and butter
(I use Good Seasons Italian dressing)
Method :
Slice the bread lengthwise without cutting all of the way through. If using
mustard and butter, spread one side of the bread with butter and the other side
with mustard. Layer on the bread, ham, roasted pork, salami, then cheese, use
all of the meats and cheese for an overstuffed sandwich. Place on a cookie sheet
and put under the broiler (on low) for a couple of minutes until the cheese
melts. Cut into individual sandwich portions. The sandwich may also be served
cold. Serve with a dill pickle slice. I drizzle the Italian dressing over the
warm sandwich instead of using the mustard and butter.
