               Eva's Apple Crumb

 4lbs. apples                                   
2 tbs. Citrus juice 
½ cup sugar                                    
2 tsp. cinnamon 
2 tsp. nutmeg Butter

PROCEDURE

• Core and peel  apples. Slice, thinly.         
  Toss all ingredients.  
   Place in greased, 9x12 baking dish.

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  TOPPING
  1 ¼ cup flour                                             
  ¾ cup white sugar
  ¾ cup brown sugar                                    
  Salt, to taste
  1 cup oatmeal                                             
  ½ lb. Butter, at room temperature

  PROCEDURE
  Combine all ingredients by hand and crumble on top of apple mixture.
  Put in oven and bake for one hour.

  Eastern Dragons

  Compared to Western dragons, these beasts are quite small. Their bodies are long, and they have two horns for ears. They have no wings, and their soft breath is said to form clouds. They do not roar; instead they make the sounds of beating gongs and jingling bells. Chinese dragons dine on sparrows. They live wherever there is water.
