 Kat's Sweet Potato Pone

Sweet potatoes 5 or 6
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Milk as needed

Peel and grate enough sweet potatoes to yield 4 cups. Combine grated potatoes with sugar,
butter and spices, blend. Moisten with milk as needed to form a stiff dough like mixture.
Pack into a small greased pan loaf or oblong mold. Bake @ 250 for 4 hours, let cool in pan
if to be served cold. Turn out immediately if served hot.
