Shanna's Swiss & Bacon Breakfast

12 slices bread, crusts removed, both sides buttered
1 lb Swiss cheese, grated
8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms or 4 oz can, drained
1-2 cups crumbled bacon, (you may substitute or mix equal amounts of diced chicken, ham or shrimp )
Salt & pepper
2 cups milk
4 eggs
1 tsp Beau Monde seasoning
1 tbs Worcestershire
2 tbs mustard

The night before, line 9x13 casserole with bread. Cover with cheese, mushroom and bacon.
Repeat layers. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over layers, cover. Refrigerate overnight. Remove
1 hour before baking. Bake, uncovered @ 325 for 1 hour let stand 15 min slice and serve
