              Kat's   Fried Green Tomatoes

2 firm well shaped tomatoes for each serving. Cut off a little from each end, 
slice tomatoes to 1/3 to 1/2in thick. Sprinkle with salt and pepper each side 
and dredge both sides in cornmeal. Heat 1/4 in oil and fry over moderate heat
until both sides are evenly browned, careful not to break.

                    Kat's Fried Tomatoes

1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2tbs finely chopped green onions
1 tbs grated Parmesan cheese
salt & pepper
2 tbs Italian seasoning
1/4 cup milk
4 med tomatoes 1/2 slices
2 tbs olive oil
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

 

In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, onion, Parmesan cheese, salt, and Italian seasoning; mix well. Place milk in another bowl. Dip tomato slices in milk, then coat with crumb mixture. In a large skillet, heat oil. Fry tomato slices for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese

 

Love isn't like a reservoir. You'll never drain it dry. It's much more like a natural spring. The longer and the farther it flows, the stronger and the deeper and the clearer it becomes.
