Kat's Fish and Chips

 

3/4 cup flour
1 egg yoke
1/4 cup beer
1/2 tsp salt
oil for frying
1 pd haddock boned, skinned & cut into 3x5 inch pieces

Place Flour in bowel. In another bowel combine yolk, beer, water and salt
pour into flour, whisking until smooth let stand thirty min. Pour 3 in. oil in skillet
and heat to 375. Beat egg white into batter. Dip fish in batter and fru until brown
about 4-5 min
