Fish Breading or finely chopped crackers

Sift flour, salt, and whole pepper together.
Mix the egg and milk, in an even amount (2 eggs = approx. 1 cup) til you have a
necessary amount.
Using a firm fish such as catfish, salmon, halibut, codfish, or monkfish (be
sure to de-bone the fish), cut into uniform size pieces. Coat the pieces with
seasoned flour. Dip four coated pieces into an egg wash. Roll pieces in a fish
breading or finely crushed crackers. Fry the nuggets in a good frying oil, and
be sure the oil is hot when you put the fish into the oil to cook. Cook until
golden brown, turning once.
