Almond French Toast
2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. corn flakes cereal, crushed
1-1/2 c. coconut
6 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 loaf twelve grain bread (day or two old works best)
Butter
Pure maple syrup
Directions:
Place almonds, cereal and coconut in large plastic bag and shake to mix
thoroughly. Pour into large flat container. Beat eggs with milk in medium bowl.
Dip bread slices into egg and milk mixture then coat both sides well with
crunchy mixture. Place on lightly greased griddle preheated to 370 degrees and
cook several minutes each side until crisp and golden brown. Serve warm with
butter and maple syrup.
Every judgment teeters on the brink of error. To claim absolute
