Spinach Fritters
1 Pkg. frozen -- (10 oz.) spinach -- well drained
2/3 C. fine bread crumbs
1 egg -- beaten
1/4 Tsp. nutmeg
1/4 Tsp. salt
1 Tsp. sugar
Mix all ingredients together. Add enough milk to make stiff batter. Fry in
deep fat by spoonfuls. When fritters rise to top remove, drain and serve hot.
Good with vinegar sprinkled on top.
Anybody who knows everything should be told a thing or two.
