Granny's Fried Livers Green Pepper
1 lb. chicken livers
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 lg. onion
1 med. green pepper (sweet)
1/2 c. cooking oil
Mix flour, cornmeal, salt and black pepper. Roll chicken livers in flour
mixture. Fry livers in cooking oil until browned on both sides. Add rest of
ingredients. Cook slow until vegetables are done. Serves 4.
