Lynn's Beef Tips

 

1 pound beef tips (stew meat works well too) 
1 medium onion, diced 
salt and Pepper to taste
water or beef broth to cover 
a few tablespoons of cornstarch or flour mixed
with a little cold water to make a smooth paste
hot cooked rice 
PREPARATION:

Brown the beef and onions together; add salt and pepper. Cover with water or beef broth. Cover and simmer over low heat for 4 hours, or until meat is fork tender (works great in crockpot!). Thicken with cornstarch or flour mixed with water. 

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
