Cullen's Texas Traditional Cream Gravy 

In a small skillet, heat 6 tbs oil or drippings (best if you have just fried something) over medium heat, blend in 6 tbs of flour and brown the mixture. Stir in salt & pepper. Add a little at at a time to prevent lumping and stirring constantly 11/2 cups milk. reduce heat to low and cook until gravy is thick as you  like. If it gets to thick add a little more milk.
