James's Traditional Texas  Cream Gravy

3 tbs flour
3 tbs oil
2 cups milk
salt & pepper

After frying save 3 tbs oil and while hot add 3 tbs flour, salt & pepper, stirring brown bits left in pan
 cook until flour is brown add milk and cook over medium heat until smooth.

If you have not fried anything just start with 3 tbs oil, add 3 tbs flour; brown flour. Add milk
and salt and pepper and cook until thick. It is really to taste, if tastes to floury add more milk.
