Ground Beef Casseroles

Sam Shepard's Ground Beef Pie

1 1/2 pd ground beef   
 1/2 cup diced onions
Garlic & onion powder    
6 serving instant mashed potatoes
2 (15 oz) cans mixed veg       
2-3 cups brown gravy
Grated Cheddar cheese

Brown onions and beef. Drain well. Add powders and mix well. Set aside.
Prepare instant potatoes as directed. Cook vegetables and drain. Layer ingredients in a
ungreased 9x12 pan, starting with ground beef, then mashed potatoes,
vegetables and grated cheese Bake @350 15-20 min. Let stand 10 min
