Ground Beef Casseroles

 

James's Ground Beef Upside Down Pie

1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup minced onions
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 clove garlic -- minced
1 can condensed tomato soup
PREPARATION:

In a large skillet, brown ground beef hot oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drop parsley biscuit topping over hot mixture in skillet. Bake in a 425° oven for 20 minutes. Carefully turn casserole out onto a large platter.
Cut in wedges and serve immediately.
Serves 6 to 8.
