Pickled Crab Apples
This one's really easy - but tastes delicious and lasts for ages!
3.5 kg pounds crab apples (with stems)
1.5 liters vinegar
2 kg brown sugar
2 tsp cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1. Boil the vinegar, brown sugar, cloves, and cinnamon together.
Add the crab apples to the syrup and boil until they are soft and pulpy.
2. Spoon into sterilized jars and pour over the syrup. Seal firmly.
