4cups diced figs, pressed
1/2 lemon cut in thin slices
4 cups Sugar
Bring half the ingredients to a rolling boil and cook 10 min
stirring often to prevent sticking. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring
to a boil and cook 10 min. Pour in sterilized jars and seal with paraffin.
Truth
may be stretched, but cannnot be broken, and always gets above falsehood, as oil
does above water.
