Cullen's Fig Preserves
4 cups figs
1 cup sugar
1/2 lemon, thinly slices and seeded
Trim stems and wash figs. Put in heavy bottom pan with all ingredients and
1cup water. Simmer over low heat until a thick syrup forms. Transfer to 2
sterilized pint jar and cover with sterilized lid. And seal in hot water bath as
recommended by manufactures.
Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things. The saddest
summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and
should have.
