Granny's Lamb Kidney With Sweet Potatoes

 

12 lamb kidneys, cut in halves lengthwise
8 sweet potatoes, peeled, sliced
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup water

seasonings to taste

Put sweet potatoes in a small baking pan. Add the water, butter and seasonings. Bake in moderate oven for about 16 minutes. On top place the lamb kidneys. Finish cooking together, about 8 minutes. Then serve.

Don't be angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, because you cannot make yourself as you wish to be.
