Picante Sauce
2 lbs Serrano peppers washed and stems removed or 24 hot peppers
2 can 141/2 oz tomatoes
Fresh Cilantro 1 bunch or 2 tbs cumin powder (optional)
1 clove garlic
3 plum tomatoes
1 med onion, peeled
2 tbs vinegar
1 small tomato sauce 8oz
Combine all in food processor and blend, place in pot and simmer 45min. Or
process plum tomatoes separate and coarser then add to pot. Serve as is or
simmer 45 mins and put in sterile jars
Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go,
for it was imperfect, and thank God that it can go.
