Kat's Blue Cheese Meatloaf



1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1 cup  milk
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
salt & pepper
1/2 tesp dry mustard 
1/4 tesp crushed dried thyme
1/4 tesp garlic powder
1/3 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 3/4 cups mashed potatoes

3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, mix together ground beef, , egg, milk, onion, salt, dry mustard, pepper, thyme, bread crumbs, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon into an ungreased standard 9-inch loaf pan.
Bake uncovered for 60 to 75 minutes,; remove from heat and drain.
Combine blue cheese and mashed potatoes and spread on top. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
