Lynn's Cajun Oysters

 

2 Cans whole oysters
2 C. flour
4 Tesp pepper
2 Tesp seasoned salt
1 Tesp garlic
2 Tbs paprika
2 Tesp. leaf thyme
4 Tesp crushed red pepper
1 C. shortening

Mix all ingredients (omit shortening). In plastic bag, shake ingredients to a thorough mix and then add oysters to mix. Shake until ingredients cover oysters. Place oysters into preheated shortening (medium heat). Brown each side of oysters, then place oysters on paper towel to drain grease. Let cool off and enjoy.
