Oyster Casseroles

 

Shanna's Corn Oyster Casserole

 

1 pint oysters
4 Tbsp butter
1 egg well beaten
1 can cream-style corn
1 cup cracker crumbs
3/4 cup milk
2 Tbsp melted butter
2 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt

Drain and cut in half the oysters
Saute in butter until liquid is gone
Add egg and corn to oysters
Mix together remaining ingredients
Stir into oyster-corn mixture and pour into buttered casserole
Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes
Oyster pieces may be used in place of whole oysters
