Kat's Hominy Cakes

Drain canned hominy; reserve liquid.
Toast hominy in butter in frying pan.
Mash, mix in liquid.
Mix with equal amount of prepared pancake mix.
Cook on oiled griddle; serve with apple butter or homemade chokecherry syrup.

Beauty is only skin deep, but it is a valuable asset if you are poor or have not any sense.
