Rum Pie
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup dark rum
1 8" graham cracker crust
Grated unsweetened chocolate
Beat egg yolks until light in color. Add sugar slowly, while continuing to
beat. Soak gelatin in cold water; bring to a boil over low heat. add to sugar and egg mixture, stirring
briskly. Whip the cream and fold into the egg mixture . Add Rum. Pour into pie crust. Cool sprinkle chocolate
over the top.
Any man may be in good spirits and good temper when he's well
dressed. There ain't much credit in that.
