Cream Cheese Cherry Pie
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 graham cracker pie crust, 9-inch, prepared
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 envelope (1 3/4 ounces) whipped topping mix (Dream Whip), prepared
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
Directions for cherry pie
Combine cream cheese, milk, and powdered sugar; beat well until smooth. Spoon
mixture into pie shell; sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts. Spread prepared
whipped topping over chopped walnuts or pecans. Combine cherry pie filling with
almond extract; spoon over whipped topping. Chill cherry pie thoroughly.
Beware the conversationalist who adds 'in other words'. He is
