Shanna's Mexican Pot Roast

 

3/4 lb Smoked raw ham -- 1x1/2"
    Strip
30 ml Garlic -- mash to paste
5 lb Beef pot roast
1/2 x Bell pepper -- mince
4 tbl Oil
1 x Onion -- mince
2 cup Tomato puree
    Salt & pepper

 Method :
Fancy Mexican Pot Roast-Rub ham strips with garlic and insert into indentations which have been made with a sharp knife in the pot roast. Rub roast well with salt and pepper. Brown on all sides in hot oil. Combine onion, pepper and tomato puree. Pour over
