Pork Stew

 

Shanna's Szekely Goulash

 

2 lb pork shoulder cut in cubes
12 oz chopped onion
6 tbs oil
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1 garlic clove crushed
2 sprigs dill chopped
1-2 cups beef stock
2 lbs sauerkraut rinsed in cold water and drained
1 tsp paprika
8 oz sour cream

Lightly sauté meat and the onions in oil. Add caraway, dill and stock for 45 min
stir in sauerkraut and paprika and simmer 30 more min. Before serving add sour cream.

Justice is better than chivalry if we cannot have both.
