Back To Poultry Burgers

 

 

 Kat's Ground Chicken Chutney & Yogurt Sauce

 

Yogurt Sauce:
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tbl chopped scallions
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 dsh of Cayenne pepper.
Chicken:
1 pkt fresh ground chicken (about 1 pound)
2 tbl chutney
1 tbl fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped scallion
1 tsp salt
6 x individual pita pockets

 Method :
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken and remaining seasonings. Form into 4 to 6 burgers. Grill on lightly oiled surface, 5 to 6 inches above medium-hot coals, 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until burgers are cooked through. Serve in lightly toasted pita pockets topped with "Yogurt Sauce".
