Lynn's Ground Turkey Breast Burger
1 1/2 lb ground turkey breast
1/2 cup finely-chopped onion
1 tbl Worcestershire sauce
6 whl -grain buns
TOPPING
3/4 cup toppings of choice, onion, tomato or
cucumber slices, sprouts and/or lettuce
2 tsp honey mustard or barbecue sauce
Method :
Combine ground turkey breast, onion and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl.
Mix well. Divide turkey mixture into 6 equal portions.
Place burger into non-stick pan. Cover and "fry" burger over moderate
heat until golden brown and cooked through and white inside.
Toast buns. Put burger on bun - add toppings of choice.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
NOTES : Diabetics or those on calorie-controlled diets may count one serving as:
4 meat, 1 starch, and 2 vegetables.
