Kat's Ground Turkey Burger With Dill Mustard Sauce
Dilled Dijon Sauce (see below)
1 lb ground turkey or beef
4 med green onions chopped - (1/4 cup)
1 cup cooked wild rice
1 tbl chopped fresh dill
(or 1 tspn dried dill weed)
2 tbl Dijon mustard
6 x French rolls split
DILLED DIJON SAUCE
1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tsp chopped fresh dill
(or 1/4 tspn dried dill weed)
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Method :
Make Dilled Dijon Sauce: Mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until
serving.
Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
Mix remaining ingredients except rolls. Shape mixture into 6 oval patties, about
3/4-inch thick.
Grill patties uncovered 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 12 to 15 minutes, turning
once, until no longer pink in center. Add rolls, cut-sides down, for last 4
minutes of grilling until toasted.
Serve burgers on rolls. Top with sauce.
This recipe yields 6 sandwiches.
