Back To Poultry Burgers

 

Lynn's Ground Chicken Ham Cheese Burger

 

350 gm Minced chicken, (12oz) 
1 lrg Onion, diced and cooked 
1 x Red chili
50 gm Grated Parmesan cheese, (2oz)
1 tbl Chopped sage
50 gm Fresh white breadcrumbs, (2oz)
4 slc Parma ham
    Salt and pepper

 Method :
In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, sage, breadcrumbs, chili, Parmesan, cooked onions and mix well and season.
Take 2 pieces of ham and lay over each other in cross. Take around 170g(6oz)of the chicken mix and pat into a burger shape, placing in the middle of the cross, fold the pieces of ham over into a parcel shape. Cook for 10-12 minutes on a well heated oiled griddle pan.
To make the chips cook with the chicken burger. Cut the peeled potatoes into strips and cook them in oil at 170 C/300 F/gas mark 2 to soften them and then turn up the heat to 190 C/375 F/gas mark 5 and cook until crispy.
