Shanna's Ground Turkey Soup
1 pound ground turkey
1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
1 to 2 tablespoons butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
3 tsp. beef bouillon
3 cups boiling water
1 cup (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrots
1 cup chopped onion
1 c. diced green pepper (optional)
PREPARATION:
In a skillet, sauté ground turkey and mushrooms in butter until mushrooms are
tender and turkey is browned. Add all ingredients to the crockpot. Cover and
cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with crusty rolls or garlic bread.
