Lynn's Brunswick Stew

 

1 chicken 
1 quart of corn 
1 quart of tomatoes, cut in small pieces 
1 pint of okra, chopped 
1 pint of butterbeans 
2 vidalia onions, chopped 
Salt and pepper to taste 
Boil chicken until meat falls from bones. Pull meat from bones and cut into large pieces. Return meat to the water it was boiled in. Add vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until the mixture thickens, about 1 hour
